About this Study
This study is researching gout, a type of arthritis that causes sudden attacks of pain, swelling, and redness in the joints. These painful episodes are called gout flares and can make everyday activities difficult.
Researchers are studying a medication to see if it is safe and effective in treating an acute gout flare. The medication is being tested to learn whether it can help reduce pain and inflammation during these flare-ups.
Some participants in the study may receive a placebo, which looks like the study medication but does not contain active medicine. This helps researchers compare results and better understand how the treatment works.
The goal of the study is to learn whether the medication may provide a safe and effective treatment option for people who experience gout flares.
