Integrated Clinical Trial Services - West Des Moines, IA.

I had no idea what a clinical trial would consist of when I first went to the ICTS office in Des Moines. I was a little scared and apprehensive about a "trial for medicines." Yikes! Would it help me? Would it make me sick? Would I turn green and break out in hives? But I wanted to help myself and help with medicines that can help others, so I decided to try this route.

     I was always greeted by a smiling employee at the door of ICTS! That was the first thing I did when I walked into the office: a nice, smiling face that was welcoming and "human." Not someone in a hazmat suit or scary! Each time I walked into the office, there was a nice, friendly face that made me feel comfortable.

     Through my weeks (and months) of the trial, I would get the instructions from the office, and the information given to me was easy to understand. If I had any questions, the office was always there with a quick reply by email or phone call. I felt cared for and not like a lab animal or specimen. The office listened to my concerns and helped me with understanding the process of taking the pill or placebo. The team at ICTS was (is) very helpful and made me feel at ease.

  The clinical trial was a terrific experience; I was compensated for my time and travel.

 I was always told what would happen at the office visit and possibly with any reaction to the medicine I would take for the trial. The team was always available and answered my questions, and I felt cared for and appreciated throughout the full session. I never once felt like a lab experiment.

  I finished my session and felt good about what I had accomplished for myself and for others that may encounter the same illness.

Yes! I would be happy to do another trial at any time, if I am ever eligible! No hesitation at all.

I participated in a Migraine clinical trial. I was nervous because I'd never done a clinical trial before and wasn't sure what to expect. However, the staff at ICTS thoroughly and patiently explained everything including the process, how my participation helped research, and answered any questions I had. They were beyond professional in following procedural protocols and everything felt very safe.

By the end of the trial, I was disappointed it ended because of the relationships I had formed with the staff who are not only skilled medically but supported me emotionally when I was going through a difficult time personally. I never felt like an experiment, instead I felt cared for and listened to and respected.

The trial itself helped improve my migraines while I was participating and I hope my research will lead to further development of medications for those who suffer.

I would 100 recommend participating in a clinical trial through this program if you can.

I started working with ICTS in November of 2024. I was given the opportunity to participate in a study to help me with weight loss, something I have personally struggled with for years. I have tried many other routes to aide with weight loss and I have never experienced such a caring and compassionate supportive community as I have with ICTS. I have been so genuinely impressed with all the staff I have encountered working at the clinic, with Doctor Coggi, and with the process as a whole.

They are always very patient while explaining expectations and while giving directions for my participation. The staff are diligent, they are excellent with communication, and are available to answer any questions I have during my visits or when I call. They put my mind at ease by showing my health overall is a priority, not just the numbers on the scale.

I feel so blessed to be able to celebrate my success already and look forward to continuing to improve my health while working with the study team. I hope that someday, with the research collected from this study, that these tools will be available to help others in the same boat find health and happiness like I have.

I love the staff here. They're always friendly and professional. Every time I walk in, it feels like I'm at my primary care physician's office—calm, welcoming, and efficient! Would definitely come back again!

The first time I started with Integrated Clinical Trial Services my EKG showed I had a concern. I went to Iowa Heart and was tested/treated and put on medication to prevent a Stroke. I want to thank Dr Coggi and Jessica! After getting my diagnosis controlled, I signed up for a Study that I am enjoying I did. Thank you for everything!

Everything during the entire clinical trial was absolutely amazing. Everyone working there always made me feel at home. they kept tabs on me, making sure that everything was going well and always wanted to know if there's anything that they could do for me. it was truly an amazing experience.

I have worked with Integrated Clinical Trial Services in Des Moines. The staff was wonderful. They were very educated and took plenty of time to make me feel comfortable. I worked with Janet most of the time and I couldn't have asked for a nicer person. She was helpful, knowledgeable, patient and caring, as was the rest of the staff. The location was easy for me to find and the building was clean and professional.
