About this Study

Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Dotinurad Compared with Allopurinol in Adult Participants with Tophaceous Gout

Tophaceous Gout (or Chronic Gout)

If gout goes untreated or is poorly managed for a long time, it can progress to a more severe stage in gout. In this stage, the uric acid crystals have built up so much that they form large, visible, chalky-white or yellowish nodules under the skin called tophi.
