Now Enrolling - Early Alzheimer's Disease Research Study
Alzheimer’s Disease is a condition that can affect memory, thinking, and daily functioning. This study is looking at ways to help people in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease.
About the Study
This research study will test whether the study medication, taken once a day by mouth, is safe and effective in treating early Alzheimer’s disease.
The study medication has been previously studied in 13 clinical trials, involving more than 1,200 participants, and was shown to be safe and well-tolerated.
Who Can Join
You may be able to participate if you:
- Are between age 55 and 85 years old
- Experiencing memory loss
- Have a study partner (caregiver/companion) who is willing to attend appointments throughout the study
You may not be eligible if you:
- Take certain medications that could interfere with the study, including some antifungals, antibiotics, anti-seizure medications, or herbal supplements like St. John’s Wort
- Have other medical conditions or treatments that may prevent safe participation

What to Expect
Study Duration:
Approximately 21 months
Study Visits:
The number of visits depends on your study group
Compensation:
Participants may receive up to $1,100 for their time and participation
Caregivers may also receive compensation, including a stipend for visits and MRI travel, totaling up to $930.
Procedures During the Study:
- You will take the study medication as directed and attend scheduled check-ins
- Your caregiver or companion will attend visits with you
- Additional procedures, such as MRI scans, may be required
